As I become closer to naming my store, I get more excited (with a healthy dose of nervousness) about HAVING a store. If you read the post the other week, naming of the store has been a bit of a challenge. However, I AM getting closer. Last night we had a focus group (or “hens night” as the ad man called it) to gather feedback on the top three names and logos. Boy, was it insightful! So much information. I am so happy to have some awesome women in my life to volunteer their time to help me. I am VERY thankful to those who came.
So was there a decision? Not really, but very VERY soon, I promise.
On another note, did you know that three of some of the most successful local furniture/design stores in Vancouver were started by a one (or two) women? This gives me much hope! Chintz & Co., Liberty and The Cross were all the brain childs of one (or two) woman with a lot of passion. Kudos to you, ladies that inspire!
