this is the item that unclogged the double shower drain clog from hell. then it blew away the bathroom sink clog which was in competition with the shower clog. and there’s still a bunch of “blasts” left in the can. the truly amazing thing is, the shower drain now drains faster that it has in 5 YEARS. and that’s with two blasts from this product, folks. Just be sure to follow the instruction about blocking the overflow tightly with a damp towel. Had I not done that with the sink, there would’ve been not-so-nice water everywhere. this did what chemicals and stupid breaking plastic “snakes” could not. AND it blew the half of the plastic snake stuck in there OUT and away.

Worked great for me

Bought this out of frustration from trying all sorts of drain cleaning and unclogging products that never really worked well and, for all I know, made my slow running bathtub drain even slower. I saw the reviews for the CLR Power Plumber and liked the fact that I would not have to use any chemicals on my old 1935 drain pipes. I tried it yesterday for the first time and it worked just like it promised. I did have to give it more than one blast but the results were amazing. Take heed to the advice from other reviewers about tightly securing the overflow drain. I thought I did a good job of covering the overflow, but still experienced some blow back of crud that was blasted out on impact. I would also agree with other reviewers that 15 usages seems a bit of a stretch. I used 4-one second blasts on my tub drain and I would be surprised is there is any more than that left in the can. I have not had an opportunity to use this in any other area of my home (thank goodness!) but am glad to have it around if I need it use it again. I am ordering the kit this time so I will have all the implements I need for any type of clog. I would give this a 5-star rating but don’t know yet how it might perform on clogs in areas other than a tub/shower drain.

Unbelievable!!!

This product is MAGIC. I can’t believe how well it performed! My bathroom sink gets slow from time to time, and I’ve always had to call my super to come pour some sort of chemicals down the drain to fix it. Last time he did it, it didn’t completely clear the drain, and he also told me it wasn’t good to use the chemicals too often. So I’ve been living with a slow drain for months. It’s gotten so bad lately that the water barely goes down at all. I was convinced I would have to call a plumber to come take the pipes apart to clean them. Then I saw this product on Amazon. I was skeptical but decided to give it a try. Well, it took about 5 or 6 blasts, but my drain is completely clear. The water swirls down like magic! No chemicals, no mess – and super-easy! I can’t recommend this product enough! (Man, I’m not normally the gushing type! lol)

WONDERFUL PRODUCT!

I loved the idea of this – no chemicals and not so strong that it breaks the pipes like some of the reusable compressed air drain cleaners. My reusable device disconnected the drains in two sinks over the years, despite attempts to secure them prior to use. So, I was a little afraid to use this. But, I have used it several times now and recommended it to others. This is not as powerful as the reusable device, so it can take a few extra tries on a really bad clog. But, it gets the job done soon enough and the drain pipes stay connected. Normal clogs, like my kitchen sink, only take one to two squirts. Then there is the issue of the ease of use. NO effort or brains are needed! You don’t even have to remove a lid. Just put a little water in to cover the clog, lay the top of the plastic “lid” over the drain and push down on the can. “Poof” goes the compressed air! Repeat until cleared. With a dog and cats, I feel so much safer than using chemicals.

Fascinating and functional

My house and plumbing are 100+ years old. Try as we may, the shower clogs up about every other day. I thought I’d add forced air to my arsenal. Wow! Followed the directions, and kaplooie! Bubbled like a mad scientist’s cauldron. All sorts of junk came swirling into the tub. (If I had to guess, I’d say it was chunks of accumulated soap strata.)

Cleared up my slow draining sink like a champ!

I have a bathroom sink in my basement that drains slower and slower over time. I’ve tried many chemical products with very little success, so I saw this product and decided to give it a try. I followed the instructions that were included and the first time I tried it I didn’t have much success either. But I tried it again, and this time I let the can pump air a little longer than the first time I tried it and it worked like a champ. My sink drained right away and has been clear for a couple of months now. I still have some uses left in the can, so I have it on my shelf ready to try again if and when my sink gets slow again. So, if you have a slow draining sink and want to try something different I’d highly recommend trying this product and see if it will do the trick like it did for me.

I have been at war with a slow bathtub drain for years. I would use 2 Drano Max bottles every month to help keep the water moving, but this month the Drano didn’t work, and the drain was becoming even slower.

Works in 1 second awesome!

Color me amazed. Slow drain in bathroom sink. Usually clears after one of more intense chemical products. This time did not. This cleared in in the 1 second blast! Note: it had been over a week since we had used the other product. This does have backsplash, nothing major. Follow directions works exactly as described. I was worried about vent, but covered powerful blast and completely cleared. Been over a week and still perfect.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I had a very slow drain in a kitchen double sink. I took the PVC pipes under the sink apart, but couldn’t find any clogs there. I tried boiling water, baking soda and vinegar, working it with a plunger and finally a couple of different kinds of chemical drain cleaners. Nothing made any difference whatsoever.
I had been dealing with a clogged/slow drain for a while. I’ve snaked it, I’ve done the baking powder/vinegar thing, etc. Drain was still slow. So I decided to give this a try.
