This thing is incredibly powerful, imagine how powerful you think it is, then multiply that by 5.

This thing is pricey, it is loud as hell, and it gets pretty hot, but if you’re OK with that it’s the greatest tool for cleaning computers I have ever used. Take your computer outside and go to town, and your computer will look good as new in under 5 minutes.

Long Review! Also… It’s A Duster. Not A Vacuum. It Blows & It Doesn’t Suck! LOL!

Where do I begin with this thing? To say that it’s saved me a ton of money on canned air is an understatement. I’ve blown out so many desktop computers with this thing it’s not funny!

Mostly good, a few downsides however.

Right out of the box, which was in the Amazon Shipping box, you could tell this thing was going to be heavy duty. The smell was something different to me, not unlike unpacking something that is meant for machining, so I knew what I was holding was as advertised; steel.

This thing is a lot bigger and more powerful than …

This thing is a lot bigger and more powerful than I thought. Added pictures next to butter for scale. It comes with an accessory kits for tight spaces, added a picture of that as well.

Great Product

I have purchased the Datavac Electric Duster a couple of weeks ago and I am blown away at what a small handheld machine can do! I bought the duster to use on my desktop computer tower which is a full ATX and the amount of dust that came out of it is insane. It hands down replaces several cans of compressed air that is traditonally needed to properly eliminate dust buildup. The Datavac is exactly what is says, an all metal design with a durable rubber handle and a push button located at the top gives a comfortable feeling when using this awesome machine. It is loud, there is no silent mode on it! It packs a punch of air to where ever you need it to go. After reading many Amazon user reviews, I had to buy it and it is worth the money! It does exactly what is intended to do so if you are still using those cans of compressed air…STOP! and buy the Datavac, my tower has never looked better and it also helps runs better too. This nifty duster is good for someone who does computer repair or someone who has a sweet looking case and likes to show it off. Regardless of the amount of dust buildup I get, I use the Datavac on my tower once every two weeks to keep it running smoothly and keep it looking pristine. Absolutely love this thing!

A fantastic solution to the compressed air canister problem

I have owned this DataVac for several years now and I am continually thrilled with its performance. This little device is truly a handheld powerhouse capable of blasting any surface you direct it against. The first time I turned it on I wasn’t prepared for what I was about to get as the DataVac will kick in your hands as its motor begins to function. The ensuing roar of its 0.75 horsepower combined with the sound of air forcefully being expelled out of the nozzle is something to be aware of if you intended to use it for more than a few seconds and I would suggest using a form of basic hearing protection.

Must have

Wanted as permanent solution to canned air. Between my husband and I, we use several cans monthly. 3 computers and several electronics. Each can can range from $7 and up, even if bought in bulk. This will not for itself in just 2 months.

Metro DATAVAC Electric Duster ~ ED500 Vacuum Demonstration

Tired of wasting money on cans of Compressed Gas Duster? I was!

So I purchased Metro Vacuum model # ED500 DataVac 500-Watt 0.75-HP Electric Duster 120 volt. This is more effective, greener and safer than canned air.

As usual I had to share this with you guys...Enjoy!!!!
