Niagara's Earth® Showerhead saves money by using up to 75% less water than traditional "low-flow" showerheads typically found on the market. While the Earth® Showerhead ensures drastic water usage reductions, the patented pressure compensating technology still guarantees a powerful, consistent flow rate regardless of available water pressure. The showerhead features a 9-jet adjustable turbo massage that easily rotates from a gentle needle spray to a forceful jet. As the stream is non-aerated, the showerhead experiences less temperature — loss translating to maximum energy savings. Offered in white or chrome plated finish, the corrosion-resistant, high-impact ABS thermoplastic body meets or exceeds ANSI specifications and is guaranteed for 10-years.

It has good pressure, even at low volume, so soap and lather rinses off easily. The spray is adjustable, you just turn the plastic ring on the head, which has indents for your fingers.

I think its great. My wife hates it.

I really like this shower head. My wife hates this shower head. Im all about saving on utilties, my wife is all about comfort. I think this flows more than enough water to get the job done while saving some money. My wife thinks this shower head is from the depths of hell. I think its pretty easy to take a shower and wash everything you need to with this shower head in about 10 minutes. My wife thinks that you should sit in the shower for 45 minutes and exclaim “THIS SHOWER HEAD TAKES FOREVER TO GET THE SHAMPOO OUT OF MY HAIR”. I just turn up the TV.

Does the job

I needed to reduce the flow of my water in an effort to put off replacing the hot water heater that I’d already adjusted the temperature on…and still couldn’t get a hot shower for longer than 10 minutes. This does the trick. It was easy to install and no tape/special tools required aside from the correct size wrench. The three settings are nice, but I like a high pressure shower so really only one works for me. I wouldn’t say the water pressure is amazing, as some other reviews say, but it is decent. (That may vary from location to location though.) I wouldn’t mind it a bit stronger. I’ve had a nice long 20 minute shower this morning and couldn’t be happier about that so mission accomplished. One note–this showerhead may be good for small children just starting to take their own showers. Some children are afraid of the shower/used to baths and on one of the settings it is basically like a sprinkle so that may help get them used to it.

Excellent product, I first gave it a lesser review, but have found I was wrong and corrected it.

In an effort to reduce utility bills, we gave this shower head a shot. It does the trick- noticed our water and electric bill (electric water heater) both went down immediately! As many other reviews address, it is a bit less water so the pressure is reduced some. It is very similar to that many hotels use now to give reference. I love almost scalding hot showers and I still get enough water I can enjoy my showers. Great to use if you’re looking for a money saver! Keep in mind a standard shower head is 2.5 gallons per minute, most energy saving ones you’ll find in stores are 2 GPM. This was a great find for a good price!

Well worth it!!! Paid themselves off in less tha a month!!

Since we moved, our water bills have been much higher than our old place. Even though we were using less water than our old house. We average about 6,300 gallons of month for a family of 4. I replaced both bathroom shower heads with two Niagara 1.25 gallon per minute heads and put in a 1 gallon per minute aerator on the kitchen sink. Grand total invested = $22.

You will save on your energy bill with this one

I would have given it a 5 star, BUT the inner jets, one of the rows the water did not come out full stream. Perhaps during manufacturing the holes where not properly cut out. But other than this I like it very much, good water pressure just right I think. Very easy to turn the dial and change between the two settings. The build is pretty good, and most importantly it passed my GPM TEST. it really does give you 1.25 GPM on both settings. Do not get discouraged because of the inner jets thing I said. I’m sure there not all the same. I recommend this shower head

At 1.25 GPM, It’s As Good as You’re Gonna Get

We’ve had other Niagara showerheads and they have always performed well. This particular showerhead (we bought 2) was going to be used at our mountain cabin with a well and septic field where I REALLY try to conserve water for both myself and our guests. The guests have complained over the years about other water conserving showerheads I have used–you know the ones–very small and compact. They do the trick but are a bit hard on the skin. This showerhead is more like a regular home showerhead in that it has a normal spray pattern. Yes, it’s a bit weak but 1.25 gallons in a minute is very little consumption. In short, the complaints stopped. They know it’s a water conserving showerhead but it’s enough like a regular one they don’t seem to mind. AND I know, I am doing my best to reduce the amount of gray water entering our septic field and taxing our well the least amount possible.

A Surprisingly Nice Flow

We’ve only had this a couple of months, so I can’t vouch for durability yet. I purchased this shower head to replace a head that had a flow that felt like fine needles. This one has a comfortable flow that is nothing like the water saving shower heads I’ve used in the past. Also, I tend to not like a heavy flow shower, so even with less water coming through it provided a nice flow. And for those in my household who like a bit more pressure it provided it very nicely, all while using half the water of our other shower head. Quality: it feels light, not solid like some expensive shower heads. But considering the extremely low price I paid I’m surprisingly pleased with it’s performance and looks.
