The ergonomic pen makes it easy and convenient to target hard-to-reach places around your tub, shower, sink and other areas of your home that are prone to mold and mildew stains. Choose the fine point tip of the precision applicator for small stains, or the wider scrubber for larger ones, and squeeze the thick gel onto surfaces. Stains will disappear on contact. Spray your way to a clean bathroom with Tilex.

The Tilex Tile and Grout Cleaner Pen has proven remarkably effective for me. Discolored tub and shower grout and caulk that were barely affected by anti-mildew sprays turn white with this product. The bath and shower enclosure in my residence hasn’t looked so good in probably ten years. Another benefit: since it’s applied directly to the affected surface as a gel, less fumes get in the air than with a spray.
Thic bleach gel works for grout

After reading the positive, though mixed reviews, I decided to try this. Love it? It works better than just plain elbow grease and cuts down on the bulk of elbow grease. I lathered the product on the grout and left it for the whole day with the door close because the smell was strong. I suggest you work under well-ventilated conditions. After about 8 hours, the grout was cleaner than I could get it by soap, water, liquid bleach and scrubbing alone. This method is second only to stripping the old grout and replacing with new grout but the Tilex approach is so much simpler. I am going to order a whole lot more or subscribe.
Tilex New Concept Pen Gives The Bathroom A Facelift/Makeover!

Although most people use and purchase numerous bathroom cleaners to keep their bathrooms germ-free, clean, sparkling, and coordinated with the colors in their bathrooms, it seems as if the tiles and grout seems to become harder to keep clean, white, clear, or coordinated with the color tile in your bathroom. This innovative concept pen created by Clorox is a great idea. It definitely does improve those areas of the bathroom. It is not advisable to use this pen on counters, or other areas in the kitchen or household. It is best to use when the bathroom is not in use for a few hours, and the area should be dry, not moist or wet, so after showing or having a bath would not be advisable. I prefer to use this product at night, after everyone has used the bathroom for the entire day to shower or take a bath. At first application, it seems to be thick, and once it settles it becomes more even in the area you are using this gel. I find that when I apply it overnight, and rinse early in the morning, that the area is lighter, smells great, not an overpowering bleach smell, rather a clean bathroom which smells pleasant.
You will not regret it!

I absolutely love this product, I took it to the grout between my tiles in my kitchen. I took the pen side and portioned it throughout my kitchen, it took two pens because I wanted to make sure every spot was covered. I then took the other side immediately (the scrubber brush) and I went over it lightly and let it then sit on my floor for about 30 minutes to an hour. Then wiped it away. And also to note I didn’t try cleaning the grout before this. And my grout is WHITE as it has ever been. I mean looks brand new! I LOVE THIS! & will order more for my bathroom and for future use! I LOVE IT! BUY BUY BUY IT! You will NOT regret it!

We have a corner of our bathroom where the glass door/wall connects to the tile wall, all sealed together with silicone. This one corner doesn’t entirely drain, so a small puddle forms, and hence mildew grows. After it was there for a while the mildew got UNDER the silicone seal. I tried scrubbing with vinegar first as I was hoping to go non-toxic. This made no difference. Second I tried scrubbing with an old toothbrush and pure bleach. This helped a little but not entirely; after two attempts about half the mildew was gone, mostly from the outside (NOT underneath the silicone seal). Then I tried this grout pen and the mildew is almost entirely gone after two applications! I used the scrubbing side first, but it was way too wide, so I just rinsed it right off. The second time I used the “pen” side, and I left the product on (it advises to always rinse off). It made a huge difference and the mildew is almost entirely gone now. I plan to use this product in that corner after every shower to prevent further growth. I did take the advice to avoid the metal hinge and tried not to get any of this product on the metal piece. Also, when you leave this product on it dries white and flaky; it looks pretty bad and takes some scrubbing to remove. I only leave it on a very small strip that is already white. Do not leave it on if your grout/tile is not white. Again, they advise to immediately rinse.
Great product, it works.
So this works. I wipe out my shower every day, but along the edges it had gotten dark in the grout. I already had it re-grouted once which was pretty expensive. With this product, you shake it, then put it on, then just leave it. The next day I wiped it out. Stains completely gone. Then I tried it on the grout behind my sink and around my faucets, and the stains were completely gone. Great product. If you had a huge area of stain I don’t think this would be great as it is a small amount and more for just edges.
Works okay, not as good as straight bleach

I got this, obviously, to clean some mildew/mold that had crept into the lining around my tub (and some soap scum in a few tiles on the “wall” of the shower). It does make a difference, but I got much better results when I mixed straight bleach with baking soda (to form a paste), let it sit, and used a grout brush to scrub it in before rinsing. Maybe it’s unfair to compare this pen to straight-up bleach, but I guess I was expecting a more powerful clean from something “powered by bleach.”
I was seriously hoping this would be the miracle I’ve been looking for to help whiten my grout, and I can safely say that it’s not. It didn’t do any harm, but it also didn’t do a thing to whiten my grout that is discolored from hard water stains. I’ve tried it on 3 separate occasions, letting it set for an hour or two each time, and I can’t tell a thing is different. Maybe it would work on mildew stains, but that’s not what we’re trying to fix!
